I made an appointment to see Dr Sciortino, he told me due to cartilage and bone wear my right leg was now short by half an inch, but he could correct that. I ran my first half marathon in Creve Coeur Park without hip pain.
On March 13th, 2013 Dr. Sciortino replaced my right hip. My left hip was done earlier. Since then I was able to complete at 10 K confidence course at Marine Corps Base Quantico in December 2015.
